My Best Buddy!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I am Ayush. Hey hello, I said I am Ayush. Don’t think Ayush and Sameer are the same person. It’s just that Sameer has given me a small portion in his mighty blog to me for sharing a few things, and I thank him for that. I am already an open dictionary and every friend of mine knows every small data about me. But there was something I had always tried to hide. Something which even Sameer doesn’t know. By the way let me tell you a secret, Sameer and Suman are the same person. He’ll never agree but it’s true. Back to the topic now, I was going to share something isn’t it?
So, what are we waiting for? Here I go……
I still remember the date fresh in my mind. It was 20th April 2003. The second day of our new session in school and my place was changed. And they made me sit beside a boy who was completely unknown to me. I looked at him. It’s the new good looking soft spoken boy who came to our section from section A. I went and sat beside him. During the Tiffin break I found him sitting alone while I was playing with friends. I approached him for making a conversation (after all I had to spend the rest of the year sitting beside him).
‘Hi, I am Ayush,’
‘Aditya, nice meeting you,’ was his reply as we shook hands.
It took just one day for us to become friends and one year was probably enough to make us the best buddies.
Now I come to the year 2006. I have skipped a long gap in between because that isn’t much important for you guys to know. In the last two and a half years we became inseparable, that’s the only important thing. We were in the eight standard by then but Aditya didn’t take the admission.
‘Why? Don’t you want to read with us?’ I cried.
‘My parents are going to Delhi. I will be staying in Ultadanga with my Grandma. And from Ultadanga to Joka is a long distance, that’s why I’ll be joining a school somewhere near my house,’ Aditya answered lowering his head.
‘Will miss you yaar,’ I hugged him.
The friendship wasn’t over yet. The next two years we kept contact with each other through phone calls, text messages, and social networking sites like Facebook and Orkut.
Then the ICSE exams were over and I was free. I was also grown up. I went to meet Aditya in Ultadanga. I reached the Ultadanga bus stop and there he was. Time had changed him. Now he was more handsome and good looking than before.
I met him and we went to a coffee shop. There he introduced me with one of his friends, Ananya.
I liked this girl just from the first time I saw her. After three four meetings with Ananya, we exchanged numbers and started chatting through sms.
I liked Ananya, and she also liked me, so it took us very little time to form a soft romance.
Eight months passed. In between these eight months Aditya broke up with his girlfriend Sania many times thanks to their regular arguments (Though this lasted only about a week and they became couple again). And whenever Aditya was alone after breaking up, Ananya was always by his side. Mind you, she was by his side, but just as a friend. Aditya misinterpreted this friendship to be love.
Meanwhile after spending eight months with Ananya I got the confidence in me and proposed her. She accepted. This made Aditya jealous. Aditya showed in front of me that he was happy with our relationship, but he wasn’t. He would call Ananya and emotionally blackmail her. Ananya was sweet and simple (and why not? After all she is my girl) and that’s why she would come and say everything to me Aditya used to say her. At first I used to shout at her on talking rubbish about my best buddy and she used to cry. But slowly and slowly I realized it was Aditya. He was jealous. From that day I rarely talk with him. Ananya, I am sorry if I have hurt you, because I never meant to. I love you and will always keep on loving you. And Aditya, why did you do this to me when I blindly believed you? Why Aditya why? Probably even he can’t answer this.\SIGH/

Let Me Explain!!

For the last two three days my friends have been asking me why I stay confined to my house these days?
To some I answered and to others I gave a soft smile. But now I think its time you all should know the reason. I don’t stay confined to my house, but I am forced to stay confined to my house. And guess who forces me, my Mom!

But I don’t blame her for that. Behind every decision there is a reason. And every reason is a story for me. Here’s another one of those.

It was 22nd December. I had to meet my friends in Newalipur from where I had to go to a friend’s birthday. The evening was planned. I knew what I had to do. But God had some other plans.
It was 10am in the morning. Mom and Dad were not in house, and the servants were also out. I was watching T.V alone in my room when someone rang the door bell. I ran downstairs to open the door. And when I did that I just glared. It was a girl. She was probably in her mid twenties. She was wearing a T-shirt and jeans with a shawl wrapped around her. Her hair was tightly tied and only one single bunch was falling on her face. Her facial expressions said that she was in some kind of tension.
I know it’s weird but couldn’t help checking her out from top to bottom.
‘Yes? Can I help you?’ I said trying to regain myself from the charm of her beauty.
‘Actually, can I use your toilet? I mean you know I can’t do it on the road like a boy, and I need to go now,’
I always think that saying ‘no’ to a girl is tough, and when she is so sexy, it turns into impossible. I was speechless, just nodded my head signaling she can come in.
I showed her the bathroom and gave her a towel. Then I went inside my room and started watching the T.V again. Ten minutes passed. She didn’t come out of the bathroom. I went and knocked. I felt awkward to knock but had to. I also changed and took my towel as I knew after she is out I’ll have to go to bath.
So, I stood in front of the bathroom, shirtless wearing a half pant and a towel around my neck. I knocked again. This time she answered, ‘Five minutes more. I used the latrines so I am taking a bath,’
I waited a few more minutes. Then the door bell rang again. Shirtless, wearing a half pant, the way I was standing, I ran downwards. I opened the door and found it was mom. She came in. And what happened next is a disaster.
We entered the dining hall. Mom washed her hands. I was still in just a small half pant. Bad, the girl whom I allowed to use the bathroom came out of it. Worst, she was just wearing a towel.
Fuck!! I said to myself. I looked at mom.
She stood and stared at me and the girl.
‘Mom, let me explain..,’ I knew what mom was thinking.
‘What are you two doing together half naked? and who is this girl?’ she shouted.
‘Aunty, there isn’t anything like this. I don’t even know him…,’ the girl tried to explain but was stopped midway.
Mom signaled her to get out of the house, and she did that at once.
Since then mom talk to me less. She has given me a life by not complaining to dad, but she has taken back my life the day when she stopped me from enjoying. I have tried to explain her, but she thinks there is something going on between me and that girl. Whenever I say mom I am going out to meet my friends, she thinks I am going to meet her. How the hell I make her understand that I don’t even know her! And the biggest fact, I don’t even know her name, forget having an affair.

Confusion!!!!!

Friends, this is my first article. If you find any mistake, I am really sorry for that.

This is a true story. But first before I share it, let me tell you a few things. This story is incomplete. As I mentioned earlier, this is a true story. So, the story isn’t complete yet and I don’t know how to complete it. I need suggestions to complete this story. Please help me.

This is a story of a boy whose name I can’t mention due to personal reasons. But still, let’s call him Sameer for better understanding. Seventeen year old Sameer was a boy with average looks and a skinny physique. He was rich, egoistic and spoiled. Now as you have been introduced to the main protagonist, let’s start the story.

August, 2009
Sameer was new in school, just 3 months old. Fast in making friends, he became quite comfortable in those 3 months. He made quite a few friends irrespective of the fact whether it was a boy or a girl. But, as we know, exceptions are there. There was a girl called Nidhi. For some reasons Sameer didn’t like her.
He used to say, ‘This girl has a lot of attitude, bloody bitch!’
One day Sameer decided to teach her a lesson, and that’s why called her from an STD booth. She picked up the phone, and from the other side came a burst of slang. She was shocked and traumatized. She decided to complain to the school authority, but later changed her decision.
‘This is the first and last time I am leaving you. Next time just watch it!’, she warned.

December, 2009
Sameer and Nidhi are classmates so obviously they had to talk. But there was a cold war between them since August. That is what Sameer thought. For Nidhi, past was over, and she talked with Sameer freely. They even used to get punished for talking in class. Such was their friendship, people termed. But Sameer was probably still angry with her.

February, 2010
Six months have passed since the cold war broke between Sameer and Nidhi. In between these six months a lot of things had changed. Exams were over and as usual Nidhi got great marks. Sameer also scored well, but compared to Nidhi it was nothing.
One day Nidhi came to Sameer and said, ’Hey, I have got 93 in accounts, congratulate me,’
He went home and checked his marks. It showed 84.
He took up the phone, called Smita, a common friend of both of them and took Nidhi’s number. He sent Nidhi a text ‘Congratulations’. She replied, and it started. It took just a few days for them to become friends. And in a month, they became very close.

June, 2010
Just then things started changing.
Sameer got a girlfriend called, Vaishakhi. And Vaishakhi and Nidhi hated each other. So, the relation between Sameer and Nidhi started fading. And things became worse when Anurag came in Nidhi’s life. Sameer knew Anurag loved her, but Anurag would say they are just friend on the name of Sameer’s parents. And then, one fine day, Anurag proposed her and she accepted. This made Sameer angry.
He dialed Anurag and said, ‘Dude, this isn’t fair. You lied on the name of my parents. Now let me teach you a lesson,’
The next thing he did was to text all his friends and Nidhi’s friends about the Anurag-Nidhi affair. When Nidhi came to know about this there was a fight and Sameer and Nidhi stopped talking.

December, 2010
Sameer was lucky to have friends like Smita and Rahul. Exams were on. Sameer said Smita to bring Nidhi and Rahul to bring Anurag to a place where Sameer himself would be waiting on the day of last exam. By that time, Anurag and Nidhi were no longer a couple. Smita and Rahul, both did their best to send them to Sameer. Sameer apologized to Nidhi and Anurag.
A few days later Smita sent a text to Sameer which said Nidhi has accepted his apology and was in fact happy that he understood his mistake. Because she thought these mistakes break the friendship permanently. She also added that Sameer used to be her very good companion, and should try to pull down his ego for success. Sameer was happy. He wanted to be friends again with Nidhi and Anurag. They even exchanged smileys through Smita for once.
And this whole idea was Smita’s and Rahul’s to make them friends again.

A few days later, Sameer saw Nidhi. And suddenly then everything changed.

Sameer felt something. He couldn’t forget that face. What is this? The girl whom he hated so badly that he could have stabbed her started missing her. Things changed in one moment. Now he wants to be with her for life. Is this love? If it is then should he say her? Will she accept? Can really love happen with one time enemies? Can feelings towards a person change like this? But Rahul also loves Nidhi. Can Sameer hurt his friends for his own desire? There isn’t much time, because in a few months, their every chance of contact will be snapped. Please help friends, your suggestion can make a life of a confused boy.

P.S- The name of the characters has bee changed for secrecy of identity.
